Ameritrade or Just2Trade Comparison Summary

Just2trade easily beats TD Ameritrade when it comes to commissions: $2.50 against $10! Even though Just2Trade, unlike Ameritrade, has extended hours surcharge and IRA fees, the difference on commissions will still make it more attractive brokerage cost wise.

TD Ameritrade and Just2Trade have no inactivity fees and do not charge extra for large orders.

Ameritrade suffers from occasional order execution problems: orders would sometimes fail to execute. Also, TD Ameritrade website would often become slow and unresponsive on critical, high-volume days.

Just2Trade suffers from even worse problem: there are numerous reports of account balance calculation discrepancies. Both companies also need to improve their customer service, especially Just2Trade.

Because of all these reasons it's really hard to recommend either one of these companies. There are few great companies in our best brokerage houses list that don't suffer from all these problems and offer much higher level of service.
