OptionsHouse vs Just2trade: Comparison Summary
Just2Trade (Just2Trade Review)
and Optionshouse (Optionshouse Review)
offer the lowest flat-rate trading fees in the industry: $2.50 per stock/ETF trade at Just2trade and $3.95 at
Optionshouse. Both companies don't have inactivity or maintenance fees, volume or size requirements to get these
low commissions. Just2trade, however, charges $0.003 per share for after-hours trading, which makes
these trades very expensive.
Just2trade has $25 IRA setup fee and $35 annual fee for IRA accounts. OptionsHouse does not charge IRA fees
and it is one of the
Best Brokerages for IRA account.
Its customer service is much better than at Just2trade and the company does not have account
balance discrepancies that some Just2trade customers had complained about.
Optionshouse is better brokerage firm for beginner investors, offering free virtual trading, where investors could practice trading
without risking real money.
Unlike Just2trade, OptionsHouse is highly rated by all investor magazines and the firm was named Best for Options
Traders in 2009, 2010 and 2011. Of course,
the company is also an excellent choice for anyone interested in investing in stocks, mutual funds and ETFs. It is also one of our
Best Discount Brokerage Firms in 2012.
When choosing between Just2trade and OptionsHouse, we strongly recommend the latter.
