WeBull Extended Hours Trading (Pre Market and After Hours)

2022 WeBull extended hours (EH, AH) trading fees, broker surcharge, and time period. How to enter WeBull pre market and after market buy/sell orders/trades.

What Time Does WeBull Starts Trading?

If your full-time job means you can’t trade during regular market hours, Webull has a solution for you. The brokerage house has a great service that provides trading before the market opens and after it closes. Here are the details:

WeBull starts trading at 4:00 am, EST. This is the earliest pre-market time among all brokers.

WeBull Extended-Hours Trading Time

Investors at WeBull have access not just to the regular session (from 9:30 am until 4 pm, EST) but to extended hours as well. These are from 4:00 am EST until the market opens, and then from market close until 8:00 pm EST.

WeBull Trading Hours and Fees

Webull customers can start trading 5½ hours before the opening bell. After the market closes, Webull clients can continue trading for another 4 hours. So the entire trading day is from 4:00 am until 8:00 pm, EST. That’s a total of 16 hours every market day.

In exchange for this great service, Webull charges nothing. There are no surcharges or extra fees to trade in the morning or evening. Plus, Webull has $0 commissions on all products.

Keep in mind, however, that bid-ask spreads tend to be wider during extended hours; and this means the cost of trading is higher compared to the day session.

Is Webull Open On Weekends?

You can log in and use Webull website and app on weekends. However, stock market is closed on a weekend, so any changes to investments you make will take effect on the next business day.

The one exception is crypto trading. It is available 24/7.

Extended-Hours Trading on Webull’s Desktop Software

If you’ve decided to take Webull up on its low-cost offer, you’ll probably want to do some trading on the broker’s desktop platform. Here are some important points to keep in mind:

Webull Extended Hours Trading

Webull’s graphs don’t include extended-hours price action; but you can add it. To do so, click on the settings icon in the top-right corner of a chart. In the window that appears, you can adjust a chart’s settings, which includes adding extended-hours price action.

When you see the words Pre or After next to a security price, you know you’re looking at morning or evening prices.

On the order form, you’ll need to select Yes from the drop-down menu labeled Extended Hours. By default, this option is set to No, which forces an order to execute during regular hours only.

Extended-Hours Trading on Webull’s Mobile Platform

The Webull mobile app has some important differences, but also some similarities, compared to its desktop cousin:

WeBull Pre Market Trading

First, graphs automatically show extended-hours action. You don’t need to do anything to see pre-market or after-hours price histories on a chart. They are there by default, and this is true in both vertical and horizontal formats.

Second, you’ll see Pre-market or After Hours next to an extended-hours price, depending on the time of day (morning or evening).

Third, the app’s watchlist will indicate pre-market and after-hours prices with the same labels. Keep in mind that not all securities trade during these times.

Fourth, on the app’s order form, you’ll need to put a check in the extended-hours circle. Failing to do this once again means your order won’t be eligible for either the early-bird or late-night session.
