Webull Premium Benefits: Is It Worth The Fees? (2026)
|
Is Webull Premium Worth It?
Primary thoughts:
• Webull Premium costs $3.99 per month or $40 per year.
• Whether the benefits of Premium justify the cost is a subjective question and will depend on the circumstances and trading habits of Webull's many customers.
• We conclude that Webull Premium is worth it for some traders but not all.
Before deciding to subscribe to Webull's Premium service or to pass on it, you need to dig into the details. Take a look at our research on this topic:
Webull Premium Benefits
Premium customers at Webull get a host of benefits that other customers don't get. They include:
- Lower margin rates
- Increased APY on idle cash
- Discounts on futures contract fees and index options
- Increased match on IRA contributions
- Free Level II quotes and OPRA data (for non-professional traders)
Webull is generous enough to grant Premium status to all accounts held by a single Premium client. The subscription applies to a single login; every eligible account accessed through the login gets Premium's benefits.
Not every account at Webull is eligible for Premium, however. Entity and managed accounts don't qualify, for example. IRAs and futures accounts do (in addition to joint and individual cash and margin accounts).
Cost of Webull Premium
Webull Premium has a monthly charge of $3.99. Customers who sign up for a full year pay $40, which represents an annual discount of $8.

Drilling Down the Numbers
In order to justify roughly $4 a month, we need to find savings and/or benefits equal to or greater than that amount. Let's have a look.
Here are the two margin schedules for Premium and non-Premium customers:
| Margin Loan | Premium | Non-Premium |
| Less than 25K | 5.45% | 9.74% |
| 25K to 100K | 5.25% | 9.74% |
| 100K to 500K | 4.7% | 9.74% |
| 500K to 1M | 4.65% | 9.74% |
| 1M to 10M | 4.45% | 9.74% |
| 10M to 25M | 4.4% | 9.74% |
| 25M+ | 4.15% | 9.74% |
A loan of $25,000 carried for one full year would cost $1,488 with Premium. Without Premium, the cost goes up to $2,185. That's a savings of $697 from a subscription that costs $40 a year. Pretty good deal. Larger balances would result in greater savings. However, not all traders use margin, so this value will not be achieved by all Premium customers.
Webull pays interest on uninvested cash. Premium customers get 3.35%,
while non-Premium clients earn 0.5% for balances below $25,000 (3% for balances above that amount). For a cash balance right at $25,000 carried over one year, Premium customers will earn $1,025, while non-Premium customers will get $125. That's a difference of $900, which makes Premium well worth it for customers who carry a high cash balance regularly.
There is also an IRA match of 1% at Webull on contributions; Premium customers get a 3.5% match. With
a 2.5% difference, that's a dollar difference of $175, which is more than enough to justify the annual
cost of Premium.
Is Webull Premium Worth It: Judgment
Many Webull customers who subscribe to Premium can earn enough benefits from the program to justify the
cost. It is possible to lose on this deal, though, so be sure to track your benefits and costs. It's
always possible to unsubscribe in the future if you decide the subscription is not for you.
