Webull 24-Hour (Overnight) Trading in 2026

Overnight Trading at Webull

Main points:

• Webull offers trading in the gap between the regular extended-hours sessions.

• Overnight stock and ETF trades at Webull do not carry an extra commission.

• Only select stocks and ETFs are available for 24-hour trading at Webull.

Regular extended-hours trading does not work for every investor anymore. To give customers a wider trading window, Webull now offers overnight trading. Here are the details:

Overview of Overnight Trading at Webull

Webull customers can trade several types of financial products during day and night sessions. Examples include:

  • Cryptocurrencies
  • Prediction markets
  • Securities, including stocks and ETFs
  • Futures

The latest addition to around-the-clock trading is securities. Not every security can trade 24 hours a day at Webull. For example, options and bonds are not available in the overnight session. Stocks and ETFs can be eligible, but only select stocks and ETFs can trade around the clock at Webull. During our probing, we found exactly 2,424 symbols available for the overnight session.

Placing an Overnight Trade at Webull

When you find a stock or ETF you want to trade at 2 o’clock in the morning, open one of Webull’s platforms, such as the website, desktop platform, or mobile app, and go to the security’s profile. You can tap an item in a watchlist or use the search bar at the top to locate it.

The security’s profile uses the same order ticket used for other trading sessions. At the top of the ticket, eligible securities show a “24” icon, which means the security can trade overnight. Farther down the ticket, choose a limit order, because other order types are not accepted during the overnight session. You also need to select “Overnight Trading Only” in the Trading Hours field.

The time-in-force selection is set to Day. At the bottom of the order ticket, Webull displays the buying power available for overnight orders.

Special Rules for Overnight Trading at Webull

Webull applies several important rules to overnight trading:

  • No short selling is allowed in the overnight session.
  • The account used for an overnight trade must not hold any short position, including covered options.
  • Margin buying power cannot be used in the overnight session.
  • Only whole-share orders are accepted; fractional-share orders are not available.
  • If an order is not filled during the overnight session, it automatically cancels at 4:00 am ET.

Overnight Fees and Minimums at Webull

Webull does not add a separate commission for overnight trades, so eligible stock and ETF orders have $0 commissions. Because fractional-share orders are not accepted during this trading session, the minimum securities order is one whole share.
